Anita da Silva is the founder of Portuguese with Anita. She teaches European Portuguese through accessible, self-paced lessons and resources grounded in Portuguese language and culture.
Anita was born and raised on Portugal’s Alentejo coast and has lived in the Algarve for over 26 years. She is a university-qualified teacher and has been teaching Portuguese since 2005. In 2020, she moved her work online and founded Portuguese With Anita, now a community of more than 260,000 followers. Throughout her career, she has created Portuguese programs for children and adults and helped over 10,000 students worldwide. Her goal is to make learning Portuguese accessible, supportive, and deeply connected to the language and culture of Portugal.
