Laura is the creator of Lawless French, a free French-learning platform she has spent more than a decade building into one of the internet's most comprehensive resources for students, teachers, and lovers of the French language.
After a failed attempt at becoming a conference interpreter and a very short stint as an adult ed language teacher, Laura K Lawless started teaching French online in '99. She first worked with a network of content sites and subsequently created her own: Lawless French. She also has sites for Spanish and Italian, and has written several books for French and Spanish learners, including French Workbook for Dummies. American by birth, Laura has traveled extensively and lived in Morocco, Costa Rica, and the south of France before settling permanently in Guadeloupe.
