María Monsalve

María Alejandra Monsalve is a Colombian entrepreneur, language educator, and founder of Español con María, a global education brand helping adults learn Spanish in a faster, more natural, and meaningful way. A journalist by training and a lifelong language learner, María speaks Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French, and has studied seven languages herself. For more than a decade, she has worked with adult learners from around the world, combining language acquisition research, real-life communication, culture, and her own FUN Method to rethink the traditional way languages are taught. Through Español con María, she has helped thousands of students build the confidence to use Spanish in real life—because she believes learning a language isn’t just about words; it’s about accessing a richer life.
