Massimo Cubelli is the creator of L'Italiano Vero, one of the longest-running podcasts dedicated to helping learners understand and speak authentic, everyday Italian.
Massimo Cubelli, originally from Southern Italy (Irpinia) and raised in Northern Italy (Bergamo), works as a software process analyst in the banking sector, focusing on UX and user empathy. During a volunteering experience in the US, he connected with a famous English-learning podcast and, upon returning to Italy, applied his background in user-centered design to create L’Italiano Vero a fun podcast designed to help learners pick up the language naturally through authentic, everyday conversations with native Italian guests, rather than traditional grammar lessons. Oh, and only his mom calls him Massimo to everyone else, he’s Cubo!
